Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Transport & Fleet Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport & Business Management or with related field of study.

Experience: 2 years & above in freight transport companies

Salary: Based on Company's scale & negotiable.   

Place of work: Addis Ababa (Kality in front of former Kork & Tin Factory/Midroc Construction Terminal)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing daily transportation and logistics operations department

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments

  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers or internal locations

  • Monitor fleet utilization and route efficiency

  • Support route planning and load optimization

  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and distribution centers

  • Track shipments and resolve delivery issues

  • Monitor transportation costs and identify savings opportunities

  • Analyze KPIs such as delivery time, fuel usage, and vehicle utilization

  • Prepare reports for management review

  • Ensure compliance with local transport regulations and company policies

  • Maintain safety standards for fleet and personnel

  • Handle documentation (permits, licenses, insurance, etc.)
