Job Summary

The Tender Officer manages the end-to-end bidding process and will find new business opportunities, gather required documents, and write winning proposals. This role requires excellent organization, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Fields include Medical, Construction, IT, and Office Supplies.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or with related field of study

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience working as a tender officer, bid coordinator, or proposal writer.

  • Quantity Required: 1

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor Portals: Search daily for new tenders, requests for proposals (RFPs), and expressions of interest (EOIs).

  • Evaluate Risk: Review tender documents to ensure the company meets all financial, legal, and technical criteria.

  • Coordinate Teams: Gather inputs from sales, legal, finance, and technical departments to build the bid.

  • Manage Documents: Collect, organize, and update all standard company compliance documents, certificates, and past project profiles.

  • Write Proposals: Draft, edit, and format high-quality technical and commercial bid submissions.

  • Track Deadlines: Maintain a strict schedule for all bid stages to ensure 100% on-time submission.

  • Analyze Results: Track won and lost bids to identify trends and improve future success rates.

Skills & Competencies

  • Writing Skills: Strong command of the English language with an ability to write clear, persuasive proposals.

  • Organization: Exceptional project management skills and the ability to handle multiple bids at the same time.

  • Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using digital e-procurement portals.
