Job Summary
The Tender Expert is responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing and submitting competitive bid proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and coordinating with internal departments to secure government and private sector contracts. The role requires strong analytical, documentation, negotiation, and project coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and identify government, NGO, donor, and private sector tender opportunities.
Analyze tender documents, specifications, and eligibility requirements.
Coordinate with technical, finance, legal, procurement, and management teams to prepare complete bid submissions.
Prepare technical and financial proposals in accordance with tender requirements.
Ensure all bid documents are accurate, compliant, and submitted before deadlines.
Manage bid documentation, company certifications, licenses, and supporting documents.
Respond to tender clarifications and post-submission requests.
Maintain a tender calendar and submission schedule.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to improve bid success rates.
Track tender outcomes and prepare bid performance reports.
Maintain records of all submitted, awarded, and unsuccessful tenders.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
Professional certification in procurement or contract management is an advantage.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in tender management, bid preparation, procurement, business development, or contract administration.
Experience with government procurement and donor-funded projects is preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of public procurement procedures and tender regulations.
Excellent proposal writing and documentation skills.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail abilities.
Project coordination and time management skills.
Negotiation and communication skills.
