Vantage is committed to prior quality and excellence, because we really care. We are looking for an experienced Supervisor of Ticket Agent / Director to be based in Addis Ababa.

Job overview

We are looking for a supervisor of ticket agent who has managerial capabilities, punctual, passionate and enthusiastic about travelling who will oversee the travel necessities made for business or vacation and give tourism related professional advices.

   You will book reservations for flight, hotels, rental cars, and other different services. The goal is to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services

• Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations

• Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees

• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages

• Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds

• Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends

• Enter data into our software and maintain client files

• Maintain statistical and financial records

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills

• Certificate of Galileo reservation & ticketing.

• Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDs………

• Capable of handling all kinds of clients, emails and multitasking.

• Strong sales skills and commercial awareness

• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively Sound

• knowledge of domestic and international travel trends

• Team worker who is readily adaptable with the teams and environment.

• Degree in, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is preferable

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as supervisor or senior ticket agent

• Must speak fluent English and Amharic

• Business-related University degree from a recognizable university
