Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Storekeeper to manage our warehouse operations and inventory control. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of all materials, equipment, and supplies. The ideal candidate will ensure that the store operates efficiently, maintains safety standards, and aligns with organizational procedures.
Job Requirements
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or with related field of study
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or in a similar inventory management role.

Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Receive incoming goods, inspect them for quality and quantity against delivery notes, and record any discrepancies or damages.
Storage & Organization: Ensure materials are stored systematically, safely, and appropriately (e.g., proper temperature, security) to prevent damage or theft.
Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock ledgers, inventory databases, and bin cards for all incoming and outgoing items.
Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records; report any stock shortages or surpluses immediately.
Reorder Management: Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions when items reach minimum reorder thresholds to avoid stock-outs.
Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment adhering to safety and security regulations.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (for data tracking and reporting).
Core Competencies:
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Excellent numerical skills for accurate stock counting and record-keeping.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and accountability.
