We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure proper handling of goods within the warehouse. The role involves receiving, storing, and issuing items, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring the store is well-organized and secure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsible, and able to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods and materials.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient utilization of space.
• Keep accurate records of inventory levels, stock movement, and reorder points.
• Monitor and track inventory to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Prepare and package items for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
• Manage and update inventory databases and systems.
• Perform regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with records.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous or sensitive materials.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols in the storage and handling of inventory.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate supply chain activities.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, with a minimum of three years of experience.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Effective communication and team work abilities.
