Mers Consulting & Construction PLC is expanding its technical team and is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Site Office Engineer to join our growing organization.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields of study.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven experience.
Quantity Required: 2
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and cost estimates for construction projects
Conduct material take-offs and quantity measurements based on drawings and specifications
Assist in tender documentation, bid evaluation, and contract cost analysis
Monitor project costs, variations, and assist with cost control during construction
Prepare payment certificates, cost reports, and final accounts
Coordinate with architects, engineers, site teams, and procurement departments
Support site teams with quantity-related clarifications and cost assessments
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of BoQ preparation, take-offs, and cost estimation
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
