Job Summary
Lead the ongoing review, design, and refinement of the performance management cycle (Goal Setting, Quarter Reviews and Year-End Assessments).
Integrate modern performance practices with the bank’s existing structure.
Ensure the performance management system is clearly linked to the bank’s strategic priorities, risk framework, and compliance requirements.
Benchmark best practices in the industry to ensure the bank remains competitive.
Develop and deliver comprehensive training, toolkits, and resources for managers and employees on the performance management process, giving effective feedback.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and gaps.
Generate high-quality reports on performance measuring outcomes, rating distributions, and key talent metrics.
Ensure data accuracy and security within the performance management system.
Serve as a key point of contact and trusted advisor for HR Business Partners and senior line managers on complex performance issues, including underperformance, differentiation, and calibration.
Facilitate performance calibration sessions to ensure fairness, consistency, and objectivity in ratings across departments.
Job Requirement
Education: BA/MBA/MA Human Resources Management, Management, Business Administration, Leadership, Any other related fields
Experience: 5.5/3.5 years of experience in relevant fields, preferably in banking industry, of which at least 2 years as a relevant officer position.
Salary: as per the Bank’s scale
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
