Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Economics, Management, Project Management, Statistics or with related field of study with relevant work experience out of which three years of work experience in WASH sector.

• Past experience on World Bank financed projects

• Experience at federal level in Monitoring and Evaluation of programs/projects.

Experience:

• 8-10 years

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the UWSSP-2 M&E systems systems in the region and cities/towns.

• Provide analysis and recommendations for the PMU and other stakeholders on the basis of the outputs of the ongoing M&E activities;

• Support capacity building in M&E at city level through development of training Materials and implementation of training courses/packages; Support the consolidation of cities subprojects report

• Provide back-up support to the cities in planning and monitoring progress of the projects.

• Work with other stakeholders to harmonize M&E systems for the sector; Collect quarterly progress reports from cities and prepare consolidated reports

• Complete the development of reporting format of the project, Undertake the implementation of M&E training in all cities,

• Participate in the project review mission, annual JTR and prepare reports and

• provide recommendations for project review.

• Monitor progress of the project against the 'Agreed Actions' and identify challenges to achieving stated goals.

• Monitor and support the process of compilation of annual plans and budgets for the project.

• Other duties as assigned by the PMU.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluency in English language (spoken, listening and written)

• Strong capability of communication on the subject matter
