Job Purpose

To lead the design, administration, quality assurance, and security of ETICPA's professional examination and certification systems.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Education or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience for Master's and 7 years for Bachelor's Degree in examination or assessment

• Quantity Required: 1

• Contract Type: Full-time for one year with possibility of extension based on the performance

• Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

• Salary: World Bank funded projects' pay scale

Duties and Responsibilities:

Examination Planning & Management

• Develop examination policies and procedures.

• Plan and oversee examination schedules and logistics.

• Oversee the end-to-end examination lifecycle, including item banking, paper setting, and secure delivery.

• Support implementation of Digital Examination Systems or computer-based testing systems.

Assessment Design

• Develop exam content frameworks and marking schemes.

• Implement robust security protocols to protect the integrity of the examination process.

• Ensure validity and reliability of assessments.

Certification Management

• Oversee certification processes and issuance.

• Manage the formal certification process for successful candidates and ensure compliance with international education standards.

Quality Assurance

• Monitor examination integrity and security.

• Analyze examination results and performance trends to recommend improvements to assessment methods.
