Key duties and responsibilities:
Contract Review and Interpretation
Review and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and conditions.
Interpret contract terms and explain them to the project team.
Ensure project activities comply with the contract agreement.
Contract Administration
Manage day-to-day contractual matters between the contractor, client, and consultant.
Maintain proper records of all contract documents and correspondence.
Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Variation Management
Identify and record variations (changes in scope of work).
Prepare variation order documents.
Evaluate cost and time impacts of variations.
Claims Management
Prepare claims for additional costs or extension of time (EOT).
Review and evaluate subcontractor claims.
Support negotiation of claims with the client or consultant.
Subcontract Management
Assist in preparing subcontract agreements.
Monitor subcontractor performance according to contract terms.
Ensure subcontractors comply with contractual conditions.
Documentation and Record Keeping
Maintain records of site instructions, letters, variation orders, and claims.
Ensure all project documentation is properly filed and updated.
Payment and Certification Support
Assist in preparing interim payment applications.
Verify quantities and payment claims.
Ensure payments follow contract conditions.
Coordination with Project Team
Work closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Engineers, and Procurement Team.
Provide contractual advice to project staff.
Risk Management
Identify potential contractual risks.
Suggest solutions to avoid disputes and financial losses.
Reporting
Prepare reports on contract status, variations, and claims for management.
Job Requirements
About You
BSC in Civil Engineering/COTM and related with Minimum more than 10 years’ experience and 5 years relevant
