Purpose of the Role

The Senior Accountant is responsible to maintain the integrity and accuracy of company’s financial records by overseeing the full accounting cycle. This role ensures that every financial transaction—from daily bookkeeping to complex year-end closings—is recorded, reconciled, and reported in strict accordance with accounting standards and legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts & accounts receivable are recorded properly,

• Perform timely & accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that accounting schedules are updated & accurate,

• Ensure proper revenue & expense recognition,

• Monitor cash & perform cash flow forecasting,

• Analyze financial information & summarize financial status,

• Support month-end & year-end close process,

• Ensure all finance & accounting operations comply with tax laws & regulations, &

• Perform fiscal year-end close activities & assist with activities and requirements of external auditors. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: BA Degree in Accounting & Finance from a recognized university.

• Experience: At least three (3) years relevant experience

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge in accounting & finance,

• Efficient user of Accounting Software (Peachtree/ Sage) and MS Office tools.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through under time pressure.

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent written & spoken English.
