Senior Accountant (1)

Salary:                  Negotiable 

Registration:       (up to March 23)- Megabit 14,2018 

Location:           Head Office (Reality Plaza 6th floor Bole Addis Ababa 

Basic function

Checks, posting, coding, done by general accountant analyze ledger balance reconcile receivable balances, reconcile receivable balance stocks prepares monthly activity reports, analyze aging of debtors and creditors.

Detailed duties and responsibilities

• Checks posting and coding done by general accountants

• Checks journal entries made by general accountants

• Codes and posts accounts as necessary

• Analyzes ledge balance identifies abnormal and odd account, reconciles and pass journal entries

• Reconcile receivable and payable 

• Reconcile bank accounts

• Compiles data year end adjustment

• Reconciles stock in value, goods in transit, VAT with management account division 

• Checks the backups are taken every week

• Checks that deduction data for payrolls are well organized and effected and check that monthly payrolls are timely and correctly prepared

• Give explanations and assist in the conduct of internal and external audit

Job Requirements

Qualification

• MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance and other related profession with Four/six years related experience

• Various software skill is a plus advantage
