About Our Client
African Lakes Ethiopia PLC is a long-standing Ethiopian automotive and machinery supplier, founded in 1961 as AMROPA Motors and later acquired by DAL Group in 2013. Based in Addis Ababa, the company distributes Perkins engines and Manitou material handling equipment, providing comprehensive after-sales support, maintenance, and spare parts services to customers across various industries.
On behalf of our client, African Lakes Ethiopia PLC, we are inviting qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the position of Sales Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve assigned sales targets for mobility, automotive, and machinery products
Conduct daily sales calls and customer visits with a high sense of urgency
Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining and segmenting existing accounts
Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations and commercial offers
Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations
Negotiate tenders and commercial terms in line with company policies
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand
Maintain accurate sales activity reports and CRM updates
Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional activities
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Job Requirement:
Education: BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field of study
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a similar sales role
Basic technical understanding of vehicles, engines, or machinery
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
Basic computer and CRM system proficiency
