We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Sales Enablement Lead within the Enterprise Business Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
Reporting to the Executive head of Enterprise Operations and Planning, this role will be responsible to lead and develop on the ground implementation of the Enterprise business sales strategy in order for the business to achieve its mission and objectives. To design and embed the enterprise sales programs in support of the achievement of the Direct and Indirect sales targets. To build capacity and to support the implementation of enterprise product roadmap to drive key performance indicator results to deliver Enterprise revenue and customer satisfaction KPI’s.
The Sales Enablement Lead will work with internal and external contact center stakeholders within Addis and Regionally across Ethiopia to ensure adequate business forecasting, contingency plans and sales transformation programs are executed upon. The successful incumbent will be proficient in translating strategy into actionable objectives to deliver performance targets
Job Responsibilities
- Define the delivery roadmap in consultation with key stakeholders to deliver on , agree with key stakeholders and deliver actionable and specific roadmap and project plan and implement this roadmap up to the benefit realization stage.
- Develop standardized process for sales capability building and certification – in alignment with direct and indirect sales, HR and regional leadership.
- Review and align Head of Operations, Sector leaders, account managers, capability building plans with the Head of Indirect and the Regional Sales & Operations Business Unit for the Sales leaders and account managers
- Best practice sharing in support of plan development including Vodafone Sales and Product Academy blueprint.
- Best practice sales documentation: proposal template for corporate, whitepapers, thought leadership, customer proposition demo materials
- Achieve EBU service revenues and EBITDA targets - by assisting in revenue delivery through capability and sales enablement activities
- Deliver Enterprise Sales from a product to a solution selling sales organization
- Successful Delivery of “Big Ticket “Items as discussed with leadership and their integration into the Sales Teams as BAU
- Project governance: monthly reviews with key stakeholders on progress to delivering the sales enablement road map
- Project specific:
- Quarterly refreshers for solution selling ;
- No. of “Pit Stop” coaching sessions for corporate
- Successful “Pit Stopping” of must win opportunities (through tracking determine if sales cycle was reduced/ more TCV achieved/more opportunities within the organization unearthed)
- Facilitation of “Win/Loss” analysis sessions
- Building sales enablement tools in line with solution selling Videos/Job Aids/Collation of insights/Market and competitor insights
- Relationships to be developed include:
- All business units at departmental head in Enterprise Business Unit
- Capability Team
- Enterprise Sales Channel Partners
- Vodafone Group/ Opcos
- Other service providers
- HR
- Marketing

Job Requirements
Qualifcations
- A minimum 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience is essential inclusive of the following:
- Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resource Development or extensive knowledge of Enterprise Business, Small to Medium and Large
- Experience in Sales or customer experience with a bias in training, capacity development and sales support.
- Has worked in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and
- Matric essential
- 3 year Degree is essential (Degree in Mathematics (Statistics), Financial Analytics;
- Relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage
