Major Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Manager leads a team of sales people, which includes, but not limited to, ASM and Branch Manager.
Detail Responsibilities
Regional managers determine the operational practices of all stores in the area, making sure each runs smoothly, cleanly, complies with marketing and sales campaigns and meets budget and sales goals.
Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing quality customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for regions in support of national objectives.
Maintains and expands customer base by counselling Deputy CEO building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Ability to create trust and build relationships across all functions of the business at all levels, employ interpersonal influence and deliver high impact presentations
Accomplishes sales and organisation mission by completing related results as needed
Qualifications
BA Degree in Marketing Management or other related fields, with minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience out of which three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory roles.
