Job Summary

The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner. The role involves working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, advertising vacancies, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and facilitating the onboarding process. The Recruitment Officer also ensures that all recruitment activities comply with organizational policies, labor laws, and equal employment opportunity principles while promoting a positive candidate experience.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or with related field of study 

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in recruitment or HR related area. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare employment offers and recruitment documentation.

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant databases.

  • Support employee onboarding and orientation processes.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational recruitment policies and applicable labor laws.

  • Monitor recruitment metrics and prepare periodic recruitment reports.

  • Work closely with hiring managers to develop recruitment plans that align with department and organizational needs.

  • Screen candidates thoroughly using structured interviews, technical assessments, and reference checks to ensure a fair and merit-based selection process.

  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for key roles, proactively identifying future hiring needs and building a pool of pre-qualified candidates.

  • Maintain up-to-date employee files, ensuring all HR documentation is complete, accurate, and stored securely.

  • Process employee lifecycle changes, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, contract renewals, and terminations..

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, including grievances, disputes, and disciplinary issues.

  • Support exit interview processes to gain insights on areas of improvement and to ensure smooth transitions.
