Majar Two Import and Export Private Limited Company (soon to be named Dawaa Pharmacuetical Manufacturing Company), a public-private company organized under the law of Federal democratic Republic of Ethiopia with its principal office located at Addis Ababa, Akaki Kality Sub city, Woreda 07.
Position Summary:
The Quality Control (QC) Manager is responsible for overseeing the QC department, ensuring that all products manufactured meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. This role involves managing laboratory operations, conducting inspections, testing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products, and ensuring that the company adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory practice (GLP), regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all QC activities within the facility, including raw material testing, in-process testing, and final product testing.
Ensure that all QC testing is conducted in compliance with GMP, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Ensure accurate and precise documentation of test results, including deviations, out of specification (OOS) results, and investigations.
Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact QC procedures; and identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction within the QC function.

Job Requirements
Educational Background:
BSC/MSC/PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
Experiences:
5/4 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control, with at least 2 years in a managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Communication skill, organization & time management skill, analytical skill, decision-making skill and problem-solving skill. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Job Requirements Candidates must hold a BSc, MSc or PhD in pharmacy, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology or a related field, with a master’s degree considered an added advantage.
