About the Project

YMCA Ethiopia, in partnership with Cheshire Ethiopia (CE) and funded by Liliane Fonds (LF), implements BEN Ethiopia to promote inclusion of children and youth with disabilities (CYWDs) across five CBR domains: health and rehabilitation, inclusive education, inclusive livelihoods, social inclusion and empowerment, and CBR coordination.

Key Duties

  • Lead annual work plans, activity implementation, and supervision of project team (Social Worker, CBR Supervisor, CBR Workers).

  • Oversee financial management, budget compliance, and procurement per CE guidelines.

  • Prepare quarterly reports, compile disaggregated data (by gender, age, disability type), and document lessons learned.

  • Liaise with CE, participate in PSC meetings and joint monitoring, and engage local stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies (Child Safeguarding, PSEA, Data Protection).

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s in Sociology, Social Work, Public Health, Development Studies, Disability Studies, or Project Management (master’s preferred).

  • 5 and above years in NGO project coordination, with experience in disabilities, financial management, and CBR.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and MS Office skills; commitment to disability inclusion.
