Note: Applicants must be above 50 years of age only candidates having PhD degree or equivalent or Medical Doctor (MD) with a Human Specialization Certificate or equivalent or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and also a third degree (PhD) and must have been promoted to professor from a recognized institution of higher learning and must meet the minimum publication standards required by Bahir Dar University for full professorship.

Selected candidates are required to submit and official release letter from the previous institution (if they have been employed). PhD degree holders will be given preference for posts required Masters' degree and above with a third degree.
