Purpose of the Job

The Production and Technical Specialist is responsible for supporting daily production operations and providing technical expertise to ensure efficient processes, high product quality, and continuous improvement. The role focuses on troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing production systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. 

Responsibilities 

  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure output meets quality and quantity targets. 

  • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve operational issues. 

  • Analyze production data and identify process improvement opportunities. 

  • Develop and update technical procedures, SOPs, and work instructions. 

  • Coordinate machine setup, calibration, and technical adjustments. 

  • Support new product trials and production line commissioning. 

  • Work closely with the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime. 

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. 

  • Train production and technical managers, and management trainees on technical procedures and best practices. 

  • Prepare technical and production performance reports for management. 

  • Assist in cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvement projects. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or master's in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 

  • 4+ years of experience in production or technical operations, preferably in manufacturing. 

  • Indian citizenship 

  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality control systems. 

  • Knowledge of machinery troubleshooting and process optimization. 

  • Good analytical and reporting skills. 

  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office. 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
