ALSAM PLC is launching the BiC Cristal Pen Manufacturing Factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and invites qualified, experienced, and competent professionals to join its technical and production team.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or with related field of study

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or Management or Operations Management is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in production and Technic management managerial or supervisory position.

• Experience in precision injection molding with multi-cavity molds.

• Experience with precision extrusion processes

Quantity Required: 1

Skills & Competencies

• Strong management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams.

• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures

• Strong background in high-speed automated assembly lines with multiple electronic controls.

• Knowledge of advanced control systems, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

• Proven leadership in technical environments and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Continuous Improvement mindset (Lean Manufacturing preferred).
