Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions

• Conduct routine medical examinations and monitor children’s physical, emotional, and developmental progress

• Provide preventive healthcare services

• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans

• Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions and respond to medical emergencies promptly

• Educate and counsel parents/guardians on nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, and child safety

• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

• Maintain accurate medical records, patient histories, and treatment documentation

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and healthcare regulations
