A Pavement and material engineer designs, evaluates, and manages asphalt and concrete pavement systems for roads and infrastructure. They analyze traffic loads, soil properties, and material characteristics to create durable, cost-effective designs while supervising construction, ensuring quality control, and developing maintenance plans to optimize performance and sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct pavement structural design, analysis, and geotechnical investigations for highways and infrastructure.

Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials (asphalt, concrete, aggregates) to meet quality standards.

Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, proper material placement, and compaction.

Prepare technical reports, pavement plans, construction specifications, and cost estimates.

Assess existing pavement conditions and develop maintenance, rehabilitation, and forensic strategies.

Work with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project feasibility and safety.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or in a related field or study

Experience: 4 years of relevant work experience in asphalt/DBST construction with renewed Professional License for Material Engineer
