Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists with eye examinations and procedures.

• Perform basic eye assessments and vision tests.

• Administer prescribed eye medications and treatments.

• Prepare patients for ophthalmic procedures and surgeries.

• Educate patients on eye care and treatment instructions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
