Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Medical and Surgical wards

• Monitor, assess, and record patients’ vital signs and health conditions

• Assist doctors during medical procedures and ward rounds

• Carry out wound care, post-operative care, and infection control practices

• Observe and report any changes in patient condition promptly

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and self-care

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and hygiene regulations

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions when required
