Job Summary 

Ensures that preventive maintenance of plant machineries is prepared and ensures preventive maintenance are being performed as per schedule and required standard, and spare parts are always ready for the preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures that machine history ,daily activities ,encountered problems  spare parts requests and consumed ,utilities consumption are being recorded daily and   anticipate and eliminate potential delays by planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. The Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating all planned maintenance activities performed at the site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that environmental and safety and quality regulations are considered in all planning and execution.

  •  · Handle long- and short-range planning.

  • · Maintain bill of materials (BOM) information and history card for every asset within area of responsibility. 

  • · Follow a daily routine planned and unplanned activities against the man hour and assist for timely and quality works. 

  • · From the consumption trend and available machinery wear and tear parts prepares monthly, quarterly, bi- annual and annual spare part demand for local and foreign purchase. 

  •  · prepare and maintains full equipment list with utility consumption and design capacity. 

  • Collects monthly performance of machinery line wise, design capacity and generate reports of devations, identify possible reasons and recommended solutions. 

  • · Checks and follows that all activities are being recorded and maintenance requisitions are intiated and properly filled on daily basis and communicates for any gaps.

  • Asure that over all plant lay out, electrical, waterline, compressed air line ,steam line drawings are prepared and are ready in the required standard and size.

  • · Follows purchase status and communicate for timely delivery and description of specifications and quality related issues. 

  • · Develop planned work for the Weekly Work Schedule. 

  • · Estimate labor hours needed to perform activities.

  • Involves in all maintenance activities to fill gaps and provide technical assistance 

  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly quarterly activity performance and consumption reports.

  • · Communicate Work Planning Package information to Maintenance crew. 

  • · Inform Maintenance Manager of abnormal or critical situations. 

  • · Seek Maintenance Manager’s advice on matters outside the Planner’s knowledge or authority. 

  • · Review work order feedback information to improve future planning efforts. 

  • · Coordinate all planned maintenance and minor maintenance activities in designated facility area. 

  • · Identify and develop standard work routines and task lists.

  • · identify gabs and problems of the operation system and upgradation ideas and innovations which can reduce cost, manual works, wastage and time and enhance quality and profitability.

  • · Analyze work order feedback and execute follow-up actions. 

  • · Plan shutdown-related work. 

  • · Prepare budgeting, tracking, and analysis.

  • · prepare annual lubricant demand (type, quantity and frequency of replacement) of each machine and plan accordingly

  • Records all out sourced costs and reports monthly.

  • Critically follows and checks daily inspection works and submits and discusses on findings and corrective solutions.

  • Prepares drawings for machining, design and modification works and outsourced orders. 

  • Performs other duties as may be required by his immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS: - 

  • Diploma /Degree in mechanical /electrical /automation/industrial /chemical and related engineering disciplines. 

Experience: -

  • 5 years and above relevant experience.

  • Pneumatic hydraulic and electrical schematic, piping and instrumentation diagrams interpretation.

  • Skilled in AUTO CAD.
