The Logistics Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods, materials, and equipment. The role ensures that procurement, storage, transportation, and distribution activities operate efficiently and support organizational operations.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or With related field of study.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management

  •  Plan and coordinate logistics operations and supply chain activities.

  • Monitor the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and final destinations.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Procurement Support

  •  Assist in purchasing goods and services according to procurement policies.

  • Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers.

  • Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of required items.

  • Conduct regular warehouse and inventory checks.

Transportation & Fleet Management

  •  Organize transportation for goods and staff.

  • Coordinate vehicle schedules and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.

  • Track fuel usage and transport logs.

Warehouse Management

  • Ensure proper storage of materials and equipment.

  • Maintain warehouse safety and organization.

  • Supervise loading and unloading of goods.

Documentation & Reporting

  •   Prepare logistics reports and maintain records.

  • Track deliveries, inventory, and procurement activities.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational logistics policies.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Knowledge of supply chain management

  • Inventory and warehouse management skills

  • Good communication and teamwork

  • Computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel and logistics systems)
