Job Summary

The Light Vehicle Driver at Mullege PLC is responsible for safely operating and maintaining vehicles to ensure timely transportation of personnel and goods. This full-time position is ideal for mid-level professionals with 3-5 years of driving experience, based in an office environment in Addis Ababa. The driver will play a crucial role in supporting operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Education: 10th/12th grade completion

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience

• Proven experience as a driver with a valid driver's license ( Cargo 1 or Level 2 )

• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail for vehicle maintenance and safety.

• Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively.

• Good communication skills for interaction with team members.

• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.

• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle upkeep.

• Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Experience with logistics or transportation management.

• Customer service experience in a transport role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport personnel and goods safely and efficiently to various locations.

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance.

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and mileage.

• Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

• Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management.

• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed.

• Coordinate with team members regarding transportation schedules.

• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

• Provide excellent customer service during transport.

• Participate in training sessions to enhance driving skills and safety awareness.
