Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or with related field of study.
  Experience: 1-2 years of experience in software testing/QA (manual and automated), preferably in fintech, banking, or digital payments.

• Salary: As per the company scale

• Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile wallet applications, payment systems, and backend services.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools; collaborate with developers for timely resolution.

• Validate financial transaction processes, including bank transfers, merchant payments, bill payments, remittances, and scheduled transactions.

• Develop and maintain test automation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, data privacy).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality at all stages of development.

• Maintain test documentation and provide clear reports on testing progress and defect trends.

• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.
  Essential Skills

Skills & Competencies

• Certification in QA/software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, and load testing

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum
  Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools

• Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
  Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)

• Basic knowledge of databases/SQL for transaction and data validation
  Awareness of security testing practices and compliance standards

• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
