Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or with related field of study.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in software testing/QA (manual and automated), preferably in fintech, banking, or digital payments.Salary: As per the company scale

Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile wallet applications, payment systems, and backend services.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools; collaborate with developers for timely resolution.Validate financial transaction processes, including bank transfers, merchant payments, bill payments, remittances, and scheduled transactions.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., PCI DSS, data privacy).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality at all stages of development.
Maintain test documentation and provide clear reports on testing progress and defect trends.
Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.
Essential Skills
Skills & Competencies
Certification in QA/software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing, and load testing
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum
Hands-on experience with bug-tracking toolsFamiliarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)Basic knowledge of databases/SQL for transaction and data validation
Awareness of security testing practices and compliance standardsDetail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
