Job Summary

 

  • Apply technical, process, continuous improvement and individual/team development skills to optimize overall brewery improvement and plant performance to adopt a safe and professional approach to all aspects of role as individual/team player. Strictly follow safety rules and use recommended PPE.  

  • Liaise with other Brewing, Packaging, Production Services and Maintenance Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, Contractors, and Shift Managers to ensure continuity of reliable, quality production.

  • Assist other departments when necessary, including but not limited to brewing, engineering, and QA/QC.

  • Demonstrate self-awareness and know your strengths and development needs.

  • Deliver the best possible plant operation by maximizing plant availability and efficiency of operation through the execution of autonomous maintenance.

  • Total ownership of production service on plant and equipment to which they are primarily allocated: operating and cleaning, carrying out maintenance schedules, responding to breakdowns, assessing & monitoring plant performance on an ongoing basis, and attending to all other process duties in a timely manner.

  • Manage the operation of all key equipment to operate within world-class levels of waste management.

  • Manage materials, components, and spares required by their plant and equipment

  • Operators must demonstrate flexibility in terms of availability, attitude, and work practices and assist colleagues in breakdowns and maintenance, and conduct RCAS on issues

  • With support from the section head, achieve production plans and key performance targets and deliver agreed Customer Service levels

  • Soaking all beer hoses after CIP and checking the cleanness of soaking bath water and recording on logbook/log sheets.

  •  Monitor CIP chemical levels and prepare with brewhouse helpers when it’s low.

  •  Handling of all chemicals plus additives with respective PPEs and according to safety rules.

  •  Perform any additional related responsibilities assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Level 4 from a vocational-technical school, BSc Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related fields of study.

  • 0 - 2 years of experience in a similar or other related position.

  • Qualification in Brewing, Packaging, Engineering, or Utilities (as appropriate) is an advantage.

  • Demonstrate understanding of teamwork principles, continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, and problem-solving.

Job Requirements The successful candidate should possess a Diploma/Level IV qualification from a vocational-technical school or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. The candidate should have 0–2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar or related position. Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills are also required.
