Purpose of the Position

The Junior Hardware Engineer for Dodai will be part of the Hardware Engineering team and will be responsible for performing research and development of our products to ensure that our hardware meets the needs of our customers.

S/he will be responsible for the testing and feedback of product performance and features, identifying and suggesting improvement points for our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle field testing and collect, analyze, and report performance data.

• Assist in validating new vehicle hardware components, systems, and design changes.

• Document, track, and communicate product issues identified during testing.

• Support root-cause analysis and resolution of hardware failures and reliability issues.

• Conducting regular and preventive electrical maintenance of production tools, test benches, assembly machines, and wiring equipment.

• Provide recommendations for product and process improvements based on testing results and field observations.

• Follow and promote established safety procedures during testing and engineering activities.

• Work closely with the repair & maintenance, manufacturing and battery swapping teams to understand and solve engineering problems.

• Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of work areas.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma  in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or closely related fields

• 0–2 years of experience in hardware engineering, testing, manufacturing, automotive, electric mobility, or related industries. Internship experience is acceptable.

• Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and other test instruments.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

• The ability to multitask.

• Basic understanding of DC electrical systems.

• Effective communication skills.
