Automotive electricians install, maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles such as air conditioning systems, lamps, radios, heating systems, batteries, electrical wiring and alternators. They use diagnostic testing equipment to inspect vehicles and find faults. To do repair work, they use hand tools and specialised electrical instruments and machines.

Job Requirements

Graduate in Auto Electricity or Electronics with a minimum of Level 4 diploma from a recognized and reputable technical college or TVET; with sound outstanding academic performance; 

Good command of both spoken and written English

Minimum of 2(two) years practical experience after Graduation. Experience in cars dealers service workshop is highly preferable. 

1. Good experience in auto electricity and vehicle electronic components repair.  

2. Sound experience on passenger cars and light commercial vehicles maintenance.  

3. Capable of using Digital diagnostic equipment's and maintenance manuals 

4. Must have a high level of motivation and energy and must be proactive 

5. Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs
