Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or with related field of study.
Professional certification is an advantage
Applicants must have graduated in 2016 E.C or later with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above and they must have passed the National Exit Exam
Experience:
0–2 Years of relevant accounting experience
Experience with Odoo is an advantage
Salary: As per the company scale

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Transactions & Record Keeping
Accurately record daily financial transactions in journals and ledgers.
Classify transactions according to the company’s chart of accounts (assets, liabilities, equity, revenues, and expenses).
Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
Reconcile accounts by matching transactions with supporting documents (bank statements, invoices, and receipts).
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Track and collect customer payments, issuing invoices and follow-ups as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of outstanding receivables and payables.
Payroll Processing
Calculate and process employee salaries, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Handle payroll deductions such as tax, pensions, and other benefits.Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and compliance with labor laws.
Trial Balance & Adjusting Entries
Prepare trial balances at the end of each accounting period to ensure ledger accuracy.
Make necessary adjustments, including accruals, deferrals, and depreciation entries.
Budget Preparation & Monitoring
Collaborate with management to set financial goals and prepare annual/quarterly budgets.
Analyze historical financial data to forecast income, expenses, and cash flow.
Ensure budgets align with company strategies and financial objectives.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgeted figures.
Financial Statement Preparation
Prepare financial statements, including: Income Statement (Profit & Loss)
Summarizing revenues and expenses to determine net profit or loss.
Balance Sheet: Presenting the company’s financial position by detailing assets, liabilities, and equity.
Cash Flow Statement: tracking cash inflows and outflows to assess liquidity.
Statement of Changes in Equity: Reporting equity changes, including retained earnings and dividends.
Compliance, Internal Controls & Audits
Ensure all financial reports comply with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and misstatements in financial records.
Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits.
Work with auditors to address any discrepancies or compliance issues.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
Generate detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Conduct financial analysis, including trend analysis and ratio analysis, to support decision-making.
Present financial insights and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
Continuous Improvement & Forecasting
Assist in long-term financial planning by preparing forecasts based on historical trends and market conditions.
Periodically review and update budgets to align with business changes and strategies.
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
Knowledge of tax regulations, payroll processing, and financial compliance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good Communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
