Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager with at least 5 years of proven experience to lead all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to build a positive workplace culture and support the company's strategic goals. The HR Manager will play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining talented employees while ensuring efficient and compliant HR operations.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or with related field of study

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the company's recruitment and selection process.

  • Screen applications and coordinate interviews.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and database.

  • Process employment contracts, confirmations and terminations.

  • Monitor employee attendance, leave and disciplinary matters.

  • Identify training needs and organize staff development programs.

  • Handle employee grievances and resolve workplace conflicts.

  • Support management with workforce planning and organizational development.

  • Promote positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

  • Perform other HR related duties assigned by management.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work under pressure.
