We are seeking a qualified male candidate for the position of HR & Administration Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations at our farm site. This position requires relocation to our farm in Southwest Ethiopia

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation for farm staff.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, personnel files, and administrative documents.

  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and company policies.

  • Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and training coordination.

  • Act as a key liaison between farm management and staff, facilitating clear communication.

  • Handle general office administration and provide logistical support for farm operations.

  • Assist in implementing performance management and staff development initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Human Capital Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Additional certification in HR or Administration is an advantage.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field.

  • Prior experience within the agriculture, farming, or related industries is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and record-keeping skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

  • Honest, reliable, and well-organized with a strong work ethic.

  • Multilingual ability is a strong advantage, particularly proficiency in the local language(s) of the Gorgesha area, in addition to Amharic and English.
