New Bright Community Development Center (NBCDC) is a charitable non-profit organization, having an objective of implementing integrated economic, social and educational project that is very critical and has a higher impact on the holistic development of marginalized women, adolescent and the youth in poor communities of Addis Ababa.

Job Description:

Currently, we are looking for a young energetic and dedicated individual in our internship program, expected to assist the graphic design and content development effort of the organization across its social media, website and newsletter channels. He/she shall assume as responsible content writer and graphic designer, in due assumption of having following

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop/review existing documentation contents to fit into various channels of the social media and website of the organization, as well as publications.

• Ensure that documentations that are meant to be communicated to the public through different channels are presentable and attractive having appropriate graphical design and professional touch.

• Provide graphical designing and enhancement to photographic and filmed video documentations of the organization, including flyers and banners to be developed periodically.

• Assist in logo designing and enhancement of existing website, along with developing promotional items using different digital platforms.

• Regularly capture appropriate pictures and video shots in the major organizational events and ensure their appropriate storage and digital usage.

• Work closely with colleagues, brainstorm/lead for generation of innovative ideas, for better organizational digital presences and positioning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphics Technology, Communication, Marketing, English Language, Journalism, or related field.

• 0 to 1 work experience

• A strong portfolio of branding, illustrations or other graphics

• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier pro, aftereffect)

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

• Proven content writing/enhancement and graphics designing experience.

• Proven track record of having the experience and technical skills in video and picture editing, as well promotional item development using digital media.

• Excellent writing and editing skills.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Have effective communication skills. Working type: Mostly remote
