Job Summary
The position holder is in charge of maintaining the personnel files for the GCA administrative employees, which also includes teachers and support staff.
Key Responsibilities and KPIs
Prepare and deliver Global Perspectives to Cambridge IGCSE standard;
Plan and deliver lessons to students in developing individual and collaborative research based skills in environmental/humanities/global issues based topic areas;
Evaluate and grade students’ class work, collaborative research work, assignments, and papers;
Compile, administer and grade practical research projects as a means of compiled assessment at Cambridge standard and expectations;
Keep up-to-date of developments in their field by reading current literature, discussing with colleagues and participating in professional conferences.
Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required.
Has in-depth knowledge and is highly motivated to deliver the subject.
Ready to take on the challenges of teaching, passionate in team building, and community-oriented.
Use a range of active learning approaches rather than lecture or broadcast information.
Support and guide learners, commenting on where they are doing well and what they need to do next to further develop different skills.
Plan lessons and reflect on what went well and what can be improved.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Demonstrates independence, enthusiastic about sharing professional practices, ability to work as part of a proactive team member.
Understands, respects, and appreciates diverse cultures, a sense of global stewardship and responsibility.
Willing to give extra help to students who needs support.
Participating in extracurricular activities.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Geography /Humanities/Sociology/Social Science or equivalent;
At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience in an international school setting;
Experience
Experience in delivering the Cambridge Curriculum, IGCSE, or equivalent
Skills, knowledge, and abilities
Experience in operating personnel systems
Appropriate IT skills.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Ability to work pro-actively and use one's own initiative
To be well organized,
Sound knowledge of all MS Office applications.
