We are looking for a Junior & senior full-stack developer who will help build mobile & web applications for banks, large enterprises, and government agencies & maintain Meda a super app for Ethiopians by Ethiopians.

It does not matter where you are from, what schools you went to, or what degrees you've earned or if not at all. What we care about is a sense of curiosity, a drive to solve problems, and a passion for learning. You have/are

• Full-stack engineering experience in a production environment 

• Determined problem solver

• Self-directed, independent and has experience owning complete features/products.

• Able to lead teams and communicate complex ideas 

• Amazing ability to get stuff done

• Expert in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Expert in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber

• Expert in server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP .Net

• Expert in SQL and NoSQL DB systems

• Some experience with web services such as Firebase and AWS

You will

• Handle the design, architecture, development, code review, and testing of key applications  

• Manage and communicate work responsibilities to subordinates

• Identify performance bottlenecks and come up with novel ways to solve them

• Develop/test system components  

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Design and implement scalable web service APIs.

• Work with SQL and NoSQL DB systems.

• Develop and maintain various internal products focused on banking, gaming & enterprise solutions 

• Implement security and data protection systems
