Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or with related field of study

Experience:

• Minimum of10 years and above relevant work experience in manufacturing industries for Bachelor's Degree holders and and minimum of 8 years and above relevant work experience in manufacturing industries for Master's Degree holders

Employment Type: Full- Time

Work Location: Oromia, Chancho area -MUKE TURI/Factory Site

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of the gypsum powder and gypsum board manufacturing plant.
• Plan, organize, direct, and control production activities to achieve production targets efficiently,
• Supervise operation, and maintenance of factory machinery and equipment.
• Ensure smooth operation of production lines with minimum downtime.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Monitor production quality and ensure products meet company and international standards.
• Control production costs, raw material consumption, energy usage, and operational efficiency
• Prepare production schedules and coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales departments
• Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Analyze production data and prepare operational and performance reports for management.
• Identify technical problems and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Participate in factory expansion, process improvement, and technology upgrade. projects.
• Ensure proper spare parts management and inventory control.
• Train and mentor technical staff to improve operational performance and productivity.
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, and professional working standards within the factory.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and utilities.
• Support management in strategic planning and long-term factory development these are the duties

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial production systems and automation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage large-scale factory operations.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and industrial reporting systems
