Job Summary 

Undertakes simple maintenances of the electrical parts of production equipments in accordance with the detailed instructions form immediate supervisor. Maintains the electric power supply lines in the compound when there is any faults; undertakes shift activities; repairs any malfunctioning with regard to electrical parts; reports to electrician when the problem is found to be beyond his/her capacity. 

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree /Diploma /Level-5 In Electrical Engineering or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience in manufacturing plc

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertaking simple maintenances of electrical parts of production equipment as per detailed regulating provided by immediate supervisor. 

• Maintaining the electric power supply lines in the company’s compound during failures; reporting to immediate supervisor if any problem is encountered. 

• Participating in shift works; maintaining any electrical faults during the time; reporting to senior professional any serious fault. 

• Monitoring the proper functioning of production equipment that are found in each room; checking for any condition that may result in dangers and adjusting it on time.

• Organizing report on the activities done, equipment used and their types and quantity, as well as the problems encountered and reporting to immediate supervisor. 

• Providing supports to electricians and senior electrician during serious or complex electrical maintenance activities. 

• Handling properly and using economically the equipment that he/she used for electrical maintenance activities. 

• Undertaking the activities that are supposed to be done by electricians when the latter are not around. 

• Properly keeping information related to maintenance work. 

• Accepting the responsibility of handling maintenance tools and handing on to a concerned employee when required. 

• Undertaking additional similar activities as per the instruction of immediate supervisor.
