Economists are financial experts who study market activity. Their primary responsibilities include collecting and analyzing financial and socioeconomic data, advising businesses and governments on economic decisions, and developing models for economic forecasting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise and support related to Designing Monitoring and Evaluation systems, conducting evaluations, and operational research in their field of studies. Responsible for ensuring the finalization of high-quality deliverables for clients. Organize and prepare timely reports on projects. Support new business development as required. Represent the company in external meetings as required.

Term of employment and duty station: Fulltime employment with field travel both in Ethiopia and abroad

Job Requirements

Educational background and area of expertise

• PhD/MSc in Economics or Agricultural Economics with extensive experience in M&E and Research.

• Five to ten years of experience in research or M&E related work.
