Main Purpose: To provide strategic leadership in planning, coordinating, and advancing institutional research, community engagement, technology transfer, and academic publications that drive societal impact and academic quality at the university college.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Grant Proposal Calls & Review: Issue annual internal calls for proposals, organize review committees, allocate institutional seed funding, and track awarded projects.
Ethics & Policy Enforcement: Formulate and enforce research ethics policies, copyright standards, plagiarism prevention, and intellectual property (IP) guidelines.
Publications & Dissemination: Oversee academic journals, annual research proceedings, policy briefs, and organize national or international research conferences/symposia.
Needs Assessment: Identify local socio-economic challenges to guide demand-driven community service projects (e.g., adult education, business development, health interventions).
Technology & Knowledge Transfer: Scale research outcomes into real-world applications, supporting local communities, civil society, and industry partners.
Linkages & Partnerships: Build active collaborations with public sector bureaus, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and industry stakeholders for joint development projects.
Strategic Planning: Align institutional research priorities with regional/national development agendas and accreditation requirements.
Resource Mobilization: Lead efforts to write external grant proposals and secure donor funding to supplement internal budgets.
Capacity Building: Conduct workshops for faculty and researchers on grant writing, quantitative/qualitative methodologies, and scholarly publishing.
Reporting: Prepare quarterly and annual performance reports on research output, community impact, and financial execution for executive leadership to President.

Minimum Requirement:
Qualification:- PHD in Education, Educational Management, Educational Leadership and Related Fields Computer
Computer Skill:- Microsoft excel and Microsoft word
Work Experience:- Minimum five years and above relevant experience.
Age:- Below 55 years of age.
