The chief surveyor leads, plans, and manages all surveying activities, ensuring the accuracy of site measurements, layouts, and boundary definitions for construction or land development projects. They supervise survey teams, maintain technical standards, verify data, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Management: Oversee all survey activities from tender and planning to site implementation.
Survey Operations & Accuracy: Direct the setup of control points, benchmarks, and grid lines using advanced equipment (GPS, Total Stations).
Data Verification & Reporting: Review and approve survey calculations, maps, drawings, and reports for accuracy.
Compliance & Technical Support: Ensure compliance with legal regulations, codes, and project specifications.
Team Supervision: Train, mentor, and coordinate the activities of the surveying staff.
Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and clients.
Problem Resolution: Resolve complex survey, legal, or construction-related issues.
Budgeting & Equipment: Monitor budget, equipment logistics and maintain surveying instruments.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Urban Engineering or in a related field of study
Experience: 4 years of relevant work experience in road construction and a renewed professional license for Chief Surveyor
