The Bid Manager will lead the preparation and submission of proposals tailored to the requirements of each individual client, producing the best possible bid for the company.

In this role, the Bid Coordinator will work with cross-functional team members to ensure a response to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), Request for Information (RFIs) and manage the proposal development process to guarantee on-time delivery of compelling, compliant, and well-written proposals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the end-to-end bid process

  • Register the bid opportunities

  • Review bids and prepare list of required documentations

  • Prepare non-technical documents

  • Assemble a bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare a standardized bid document

  • Co-ordinate all parties involved in the bid process to ensure everyone is aware of the level of contribution expected of them and the deadlines.

  • Manage external consultants and partners, typically involving contributions from sales, product teams, finance, legal and delivery.

  • Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer

  • Ensuring that bids are submitted on time and are as complete and accurate as possible.

  • Monitor the proposal’s content to ensure its content compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements.

  • Monitor for relevant competitive procurement opportunities, managing the bid opportunities pipeline

  • Track Risks and issues involving dates, schedules and compliances throughout the bid process

  • Establishing appropriate reporting procedure to ensure every team member is on the same page.

  • Conduct a post mortem or Lessons learned and present report on every bid for the management

  • Present a weekly bid status report to the department

Job Requirement:
