Note: Applicants must be above 50 years of age and have scored at least B+, very good or equivalent in their second and third degree thesis. Only candidates having PhD degree or equivalent or Medical Doctor (MD) with Human Specialization Certificate or equivalent or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and also a third degree (PhD) are eligible to apply and they must be promoted to associate professor from a recognized higher education institution and meets the minimum publication standards required by Bahir Dar University for associate professorship

Selected candidates are required to submit and official release letter from the previous institution (if they have been employed). PhD degree holders will be given preference for posts required Masters' degree and above with a third degree.
