Job Position title:   Assistant Store Keeper   (Factory Adama)

The job position assistant store keeper is responsible to assist the Main store keeper On the basis given procedures and standards.

1. Perform store activities based on given procedures and standards of the organization and direction of the store keeper,

2. Keep proper records for receiving and issuing items in bin card,

3. Distribute proper receiving and issuing documents and with required information,

4. Ensure that items are shelved properly for simple accessibility,

5. Keep stock items from damage and prevents them from mishandling,

6. CoordinatesLoadingandunloadingof items to be moved or transported,

7. Prepare reports on movement of stock items and related issues,

8. Support annual inventory by providing required information and placing items convenience to counting,

9. Keep stock and other items clean

10. Use physical facilities, equipment, and tools found in the store.

11. Prepare periodic work performance reports and submit to the storekeeper.

12. Perform other related activities of the organization as required and given by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:  BA degree /Diploma in supplies management and 2/4 years of working experience respectively.

Additional Skills: 

• advanced computer skills, particularly knowledge of MS Word and MS excel, 

• Excellent in written and verbal communication skills.
